Public Notification of Fee and Service Changes

The Brantley County Board of Commissioners voted to charge an application fee of $25 .00 per new culvert installation. The Brantley County Road Department will no longer install culverts. Culvert installation must be to County Road specifications. At the time of application, the applicants will be given a list of 3-5 private contractors who can perform the installation. The applicant will be responsible for paying for the culvert pipe and installation by the private contractors. In case of an emergency need by the applicant, and should they not be able to procure a private contractor, the Brantley County Road Department will install the culvert for the cost of the pipe as paid by the County, plus an installation fee of $1,200.00. All fees are paid before work begins. This change is effective July 1, 2022.
