COACHES

RECREATION DEPARTMENT COACHING REQUIREMENTS

Whether you’re passionate about sports, looking to give back to the community, or want to inspire young athletes, we welcome you to apply as a coach with the Brantley County Recreation Department. To ensure a safe and positive environment for all participants, the following requirements must be met by all coaching applicants:

Requirements

  • All coaching candidates must undergo and pass a mandatory criminal background check to ensure the safety and security of our participants.

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of applying to ensure they can legally take on the responsibility of coaching.

  • Complete all necessary registration forms and agreements provided by the Brantley County Recreation Department. This includes applications, code of conduct agreements, and any other required documents.

  • Coaches are expected to uphold the highest standards of ethical behavior. This includes promoting fairness, sportsmanship, and respect among all players, parents, officials, and competitors. Coaches should act as positive role models for young athletes.
