Brantley County Emergency Management Agency (EMA)

The Brantley County Emergency Management Agency works to promote safety and preparedness across our community. In coordination with local and state partners, EMA helps support communication, planning, and response during emergency situations.

From severe weather events like hurricanes and floods to other community hazards, our goal is to help residents stay informed and take steps toward preparedness.

Hurricane Preparedness

Hurricane season runs from June through November. Residents are encouraged to review evacuation zones, make a supply kit, and have a plan in place.

Report Storm Damage Online

Brantley County residents can now self-report storm damage through our Crisis Track system.

If your home has been affected by a recent storm, please use the link below to submit a report.

Important:This form is only for damage to yourprimary residence (your place of living). Please do not report damage to porches, sheds, fences, or other exterior structures.

Reporting helps emergency management officials assess the impact of storms across the county. Thank you for doing your part to keep our community safe and informed.

Points of Distribution (PODs)

During times of emergency, Brantley County will operate Points of Distribution (PODs) to provide critical supplies to residents in need.

These sites are activated when necessary and serve as central locations for handing out items such as:

Bottled water

Ice

MREs (Meals Ready to Eat)

Emergency supplies

POD locations may include: Brantley County Middle School Atkinson Elementary School

These locations will alternate based on availability and need during each emergency event.

Updates on active POD sites will be shared through official county communication channels, including the Brantley EMA Facebook page and local alerts. We encourage residents to stay informed and follow all updates to know when and where PODs will be open.
